The Pulsar L-915 IR Flashlight is a high powered IR Laser illuminator offering a variable beam from spot to flood. The IR power of the flashlight can be smoothly adjusted. This illuminator operates in the remote field of the IR range (915nm), invisible to the naked eye. The Pulsar L-915 Flashlight is designed for use with digital night vision devices and is not recommended for use with Gen.1 or CF-Super NV devices.
KEY FEATURES:
Class 1 laser safety
The Pulsar laser IR Illuminators comply with Class 1 Laser safety regulations according to the standard IEC 60825-2007 (eyesafe).
IR Spot Position
The design of Pulsar IR Flashlights allows spot position to be corrected in the field of view horizontally and vertically. To do this, loosen the ring fixing the optical assembly, adjust the IR spot in the center of the field of view (the NV unit should be on) and tighten the ring again.
Mounting
Pulsar IR Flashlights are equipped with a mount adaptable for Weaver rail, making them compatible with most modern night vision scopes and optical units. The package also includes an adapter that allows flashlights to be attached to NV units outfitted with a ¼ inch tripod mount.
Focusing
The flashlight's spot can be smoothly adjusted from narrow beam to flood. The unfocused beam illuminates a larger area, while the narrow beam of light ensures the furthest possible viewing distance.
Power
Adjusted by rotating the wheel on the body next to the ON button. Adjustment of both the power and spot divergence angle helps achieve best illumination of an object in specific observation conditions.
